More About RevUp

RevUp Capital is a global leader in revenue-based, equity-alternative investing, and one of few with a high touch, portfolio-based model.

Since 2016, RevUp has invested into B2B and B2C companies that are revenue-driven and ready to double down on growth. We deploy cash and capacity to help companies grow from $1-3M to $10-30M, quickly and efficiently. Companies enter our portfolio with $500K-$3M in revenue, a strong growth rate, and a team that’s ready to scale. Our typical investment range is $300K-$500K.

We invest into a company's market-facing activity using a cash and capacity model. We pair our cash investment with dedicated support from the RevUp Growth Platform: a powerful resource to build a data-driven growth engine, delivered by people who get the work done. Rather than take equity, companies return investment through a small percentage of revenue over time. More at www.revupfund.com

Many revenue-based investors use a high-volume, transactional, bank-like model. From the beginning, we wanted to be more to the companies we serve through RevUp. Some of this is just DNA, tied to our own history as founders and then our early experience as seed stage investors into 80+ companies. And today, six RevUp funds later, our approach remains high touch, low-volume, and about as far from transactional as you can get. Smart money is good money, whether it’s equity or not.

More about Melissa: Melissa is an experienced investor, fund manager and business builder with 120+ investments under management. Frustrated by the constraints of the equity-only model, Melissa left Venture Capital in 2016 to co-found RevUp Capital, one of the world’s first revenue-based funds for early stage companies. Melissa is also founder of Operation Athena, an investment resource for female founders and black and brown entrepreneurs.
